Cousin’s Corner: Unpacking Our Culture
Date: November 6th
Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm
Location: SUB I, Room 2400, MPR
This session invites participants to unpack the emotional and cultural “baggage” that shapes how they show up in the world, especially as marginalized students. It’s about naming the expectations, stereotypes, and internalized pressures that might be holding us back—and then choosing what we want to carry forward with intention and love. The conversation honors intergenerational realities, but empowers us to define our own journey, to let go of what no longer serves us, and to step into a more authentic self.

Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm
Location: SUB I, Room 2400, MPR
Join us for our very first Cousins’ Corner! The topic will be “Main Character Energy,” and will feature a discussion around goal setting, asking ourselves how we can become the “main characters” of our own stories. We will touch on topics such as recovering from failure to achieve a goal, or seeking support throughout setting and accomplishing goals.
