About
The Leadership Legacy Showcase is an annual celebration of growth, reflection, and impact presented by our Graduate Professional Assistants and Leadership Consultants. During the Leadership Legacy Showcase, students share their digital leadership portfolios, a comprehensive representation of their learning, development, and achievements throughout their time working in leadership education and development. More than a collection of accomplishments, each digital portfolio serves as a narrative of personal and professional transformation. It highlights how students have strengthened their leadership abilities, expanded their intercultural awareness, and engaged meaningfully with the campus community. Through stories, experiences, and reflections, our students leaders have an opportunity to share and demonstrate how their experiences have shaped who they are and who they aspire to become.
We invite you to attend our 13th Annual Legacy Showcase on Monday, May 4th from 10:00am-12:00pm. We are excited to share this year's Leadership Legacy Showcase will be held in hybrid format. You will have an opportunity to attend the Leadership Legacy Showcase in person or virtually. Light snacks and refreshments will be served for the in person component. RSVP by April 27, 2026.
Creating this portfolio offers Graduate Professional Assistants and Leadership Consultants a holistic way to articulate their experiences, skills developed, and areas of strength and growth, benefiting them not only in future career opportunities, but also personally and professionally in throughout their leadership journey.

A signature component of the showcase is the Legacy Story, a reflective piece where each consultant shares how their experiences have influenced them personally, professionally, and as emerging leaders. Rather than summarizing tasks, the Legacy Story captures:
- pivotal moments of challenge and growth
- lessons learned about values, strengths, boundaries, and purpose
- the impact they have made within the community
- the legacy they intend to carry forward
This reflective narrative allows attendees to see leadership development not as a checklist, but as a transformative journey.
