The Spiritual and Interfaith Center at George Mason offers a tranquil environment for reflection, meditation, prayer, and connection. Open to all students, faculty, and staff regardless of spiritual or cultural background, this center is meant to serve as an on-campus sanctuary for personal growth and interfaith dialogue.

We are aware of the reconfiguration of the JC Prayer space and know you might be looking for a place to pray. We heard you, we care and we are here. As a result of the advocacy of students, we also want to announce two new drop in prayer spaces within the Center.
What to know about these drop-in spaces:
- There are TWO locations within the S&I Center: Room A214 (on the second floor) and the Atrium (to the right upon entering Center).
- No shoes permitted, socks will be provided for those who need them.
- Rugs, cushions, and beads are allowed to stay up.
- No other use of the space outside of prayer.

- Respectful of Privacy & Practices: Please keep voices and activities at a low volume unless otherwise approved. We have humans with different traditions and needs regarding noise and will work with everyone to ensure practices are respected.
- No Napping: This is a space for spiritual reflection and personal well-being.
- No Drinking & No Eating without Reservation: Water only. Food only permitted by request through the online reservation platform.
- Mobile Devices: Please silence your phone and use headphones if needed.
- No Proselytizing: Please respect the differing beliefs of others. This space is intended for open, non-judgmental reflection and conversation, not for promoting or persuading others to adopt specific beliefs.
- No Posting: No posters, flyers, or signs are to be placed inside or outside the meditation space at any time, unless first approved by the Center for Leadership & Intercultural Engagement.
- Return spaces to original configuration: No leaving of personal materials or equipment of any kind. No facility equipment is to be removed from the facility, return equipment to storage areas.
- Corporate/group prayer times must be scheduled through the Center for Leadership & Intercultural Engagement.
- Candles, burning oils, or any other flammable items are not permitted. Flameless and electric items are permitted.
